International Women's Day on 8 March 2023
To mark this year's International Women's Day, host Claudia Züllig is campaigning for more women in political and, above all, entrepreneurial decision-making positions.
Today, 8 March, is International Women's Day. It originated as an initiative of socialist organisations in the period before the First World War. The women fought for equal rights, the right to vote for women and the emancipation of female workers.
Many women value their responsibility in the company. For them, however, the managerial role also means a certain amount of pressure. "I act as a role model and my actions have an effect on my employees," explains Claudia Züllig, hostess at the Hotel Schweizerhof in Lenzerheide. It is an incredibly rewarding task to inspire and motivate people to run a company together with you.
