On this day, everything in the Swiss catering industry revolved around delicious vegetarian cuisine. With this day of action, Switzerland Tourism, together with GastroSuisse and HotellerieSuisse, set a milestone for sustainable gastronomy as part of Swisstainable. Together with restaurants, hotels and partner organisations, we inspired guests from Switzerland and abroad to enjoy vegetarian food - from top restaurants to simple mountain pubs.

And that's not enough...

We Swiss love high quality. We appreciate real enjoyment. And that's why we took advantage of World Vegetarian Day and launched the"The Green Mountain" burger. The natural, plant-based products from "The Green Mountain" are tasty and delicious - with no frills or small print. Developed and produced in Switzerland with ingredients sourced locally.
